Getting ready for the season is a thrilling time for all our Zone 1 Softball athletes. To keep everyone safe and ready for the diamond, we have listed the essential gear by division below.

Certified batting helmet (with chin strap)
Running shoes or athletic footwear
Softball glove

Optional Extras

Batting gloves
Fielders mask

U11 to U17 Divisions

The Essentials

Certified batting helmet (with cage and strap)
Fielders face mask (mandatory for Infielders)
Softball cleats (rubber for U11-U13; metal permitted for U15+)
Personal bat
Field gear: Softball glove, ball pants, socks and belt (coaches will direct colour)
Safety Guard: Pelvic protectors are required for catchers & recommended for pitchers
Pitcher Protection: Facemasks are required for pitchers & recommended for all infielders
